There are plenty of monsters with lightning immunity, however if your mercenary has Infinity runeword as a weapon, with the Conviction aura in effect they can kill even the strongest bosses, including Uber Diablo, but Uber Tristram’s bosses will cause you trouble. Their primary attacking skills are Lightning Strike for multiple targets, and Charged strike/ optionally Power Strike for single targets. When monster density is high, they far outperform any other character in clearspeed. They are also fun and relatively easy to play with. They are preferred by many due to their fast movement speed, great clearspeed, great survivability and fast boss-kill speed.
